Bengal Tiger Escapes Zoo in Mexico, Sadly Passes Away

Kenzo, a white Bengal tiger that had recently escaped from a private wildlife facility in Mexico State, has tragically died during a rescue operation. The federal environmental protection agency, Profepa, reported the cat’s death just hours after announcing his capture under sedation. Profepa stated that Kenzo attacked rescue personnel during the operation, leading to security forces intervening. Despite immediate medical attention, the tiger could not be saved. The mayor of Tepetlaoxtoc, where the capture occurred, noted the cooperative efforts of multiple government levels in the search.
