A tragic incident unfolded in Saltillo, Coahuila, where a Texas man, Chad Eberle, is accused of murdering three people, which has left a tight-knit community in shock. The violent attack occurred on Tuesday afternoon in the Espinoza Mireles neighborhood, disrupting the peace of daily life in the area and raising concerns for residents about safety and domestic violence.
Eberle, a former police officer, allegedly shot two women and a man and seriously wounded another woman inside a home, where his 3-year-old son was present. The Coahuila Attorney General’s Office reported that he fled toward the United States with his son later that day, leading to a swift mobilization by state police, the National Guard, and other federal agencies. Fortunately, the child was found unharmed and has been placed under the protection of the Office of the Attorney for Children and Families.
Preliminary reports indicate that Eberle arrived at the home of his ex-partner, Litzy Mora, demanding to see their son, despite being under a restraining order for domestic violence.
